  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    italian style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion flakes, dehydrated
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 4 oz
    mozzarella cheese, cut into 24 (1/2-inch) cubes
  • 1 jar(s)
    pizza or spaghetti sauce
  • ·
    sliced mushrooms (optional)

How to Make Mozzarella Stuffed Meat Balls


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, salt and pepper; mix well.
  3. Cover each cheese cube with about 1 Tbsp. meat mixture. Carefully sealing all around and shape into a ball.
  4. Place meatballs in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish, cover with pizza sauce. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes.
