Linguine with Meat Sauce

This is the first recipe I "adopted"! It was fun and easy to make; just a little time consuming due to the various steps. It is a unique blend between spaghetti and lasagna.

I served it with salad and garlic bread. Good news...everyone liked it!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

When I prepare a dish for the first time I usually try to follow the recipe exactly (and then make my own adjustments the next time I prepare it). With this recipe I was VERY tempted to add some more spices to the sauce while it was cooking. I resisted and was so pleasantly surprised at how good it turned out! All the different layers come together and make it taste just wonderful. Let me know what you think! The Test Kitchen
