ground (bulk) italian sausage
1 medium
green pepper, thinly sliced
1 medium
onion, thinly sliced
1 can(s)
(15 oz.) italian style diced tomatoes
1 c
chicken broth
5 Tbsp
tomato paste
4 tsp
granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp
dried basil
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1 box
(16 oz.) linguine

How to Make Linguine with Italian Sausage and Peppers


  • 1Heat oil in large skillet to medium hot. Add sausage, peppers, onion; cook until sausage is no longer pink; drain.
  • 2Add the tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, sugar, basil and garlic powder; heat through.
  • 3While sauce is simmering, cook linguine as directed on package. Drain and serve topped with meat sauce.
