How to Make BONNIE'S NOODLES

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil water and cook the spaghetti. Drain well. Blot with paper towel to pick up excess moisture.
  2. Prepare Vegetables. Peel and cut the carrots in half. Large, fat carrots work best in this recipe. Then cut each half into thick strips with a sharp knife.
  3. Slice the onions.
  4. Slice garlic
  5. Make sauce. In a small bowl, add all the sauce ingredients and whisk to combine.
  6. Cook Vegetables. Heat large skillet over med high heat with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Add the carrots and brown on both sides then add the rest of the vegetables, and cook until crisp tender. (Add optional veggies, if any) Add mushrooms last and toss them. Remove vegetables to a bowl. Keep warm.
  7. Cook Noodles. Add the 1 tablespoon of reserved vegetable oil to the skillet over medium high heat. Add the cooked spaghetti noodles. They will lightly brown, then turn and lightly brown the other side (about 3 minutes total)
  8. Add Sauce to the spaghetti, toss with tongs to coat completely.
  9. Add Vegetables, toss again and serve in bowls immediately. (Add cooked meat of choice, if you wish.) Enjoy!
