    chopped onion
  • 1 small
    green bell peppers
  • 2 c
  • 1/2 c
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    butter crakers, crushed ( for the top)

How to Make Squash Casserole


  1. Slice squash into 1/2-inch pieces. Boil in water until tender; drain. Meanwhile, brown sausage in pan; drain off excess fat. In a large bowl mix together sausage, squash, onion, bell pepper and seasonings , mayonnise. Pour into a 1-quart buttered casserole dish.
    Mix melted butter and bread crumbs and sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until browned.
