i have always loved scalpoed potatoed so i messed about with it tweeking here and there and this is result you realy can feed an army with this and leftovers are even better provided it makes it past the stove top and yes this can be done in a crock pot

    potatoes cut in uniform size chunks

    smoked sausage ,smoked ham cut in chunks about the same size as the potatoe chunks ,peperoni slices about 2 lbs each garlic salt to taste onions 3 sliced in rings 2 med onion powder to taste pepper salt heavy on

  1. if your using a roaster pan or crock pot i sugest you spray it with non cook spray as we are cooking with just milk no water and put your dice in a verry large bowl potatoes sausage ham peperoni sprinkel your garlic salt onion powder salt and peper going heavy on them as you know potatoes suck up salt so dont worry about going heavy on it toss your potatoes,sausage,ham.onion rings to get them all coated with your seasonings then dump in a sprayed crock pot or oven roaster add milk till you can see it through your dice take 2 sticks of diced margrine and put it over the top of everything cover put in a a 425 0ven or a crock pot on high let it go till potatoes are cooked tender stir occasionaly uncover the last hr in the oven
