Delicious and simple lamb chops! I like Costco's lamb because it comes from New Zealand and is very tasty.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

You can truly fool your guests with this delicious and easy lamb chop recipe. The chops are moist and tender. We love the crunchy texture the seasoning adds. They are a bit salty but the mint jelly cuts it with some sweetness. If you're watching your salt intake, try using garlic powder instead of garlic salt.

Ingredients For lamb chops

  • 6
    thick-cut lamb chops
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic salt

How To Make lamb chops

  • Lamb chop seasoning in a resealable bag.
    1
Preheat oven to 425 F. Mix lemon pepper with garlic salt in a Ziploc baggie (gallon size).
  • Coating lamb chops with the seasoning.
    2
Place 1 chop at a time in the bag and shake until coated with seasonings. Do this until all 6 lamb chops are covered. If you need to add some more garlic salt and lemon pepper to the bag, be sure you keep them in equal amounts.
  • Coated lamb chops on a baking sheet.
    3
Place coated lamb chops on a cookie sheet rubbed with olive oil. Arrange with some room between each chop.
  • Lamb chops baking in the oven.
    4
Bake at 425 for approximately 40 minutes for thick chops.
  • Cooked lamb chops on a plate.
    5
Remove from oven and serve. Recommended - mint jelly or mint sauce (see my recipe for this) to go with lamb.
