  Boil sausages until center temp reads 165. Place sausages in hot skillet to sear skin a bit. Sit to the side.

  In your heavy stock pot place your chopped cabbage, chopped onion, chopped potatoes and butter. Pour chicken broth over all. Salt and pepper to taste. Place lid on pot and let it boil down a bit.

  I like to spiral cut the sausages just to let the juices run. Place sausages on top of cooked cabbage, onion and potato mixture. Cover after stirring and let it steam and come together.

  This is great with brown mustard and bread.
