Ingredients For japanese chicken, beans and mushrooms with rice

  • 1/2 c
    medium grained white rice
  • 1 tsp
    peanut oil
  • 8 oz
    chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c
    sliced onion
  • 1/2 lb
    green beans, cleaned, de-stemmed
  • 2 clove
    green garlic (or 1 teaspoon minced garlic)
  • 4 oz
    shiitake or baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp
    sliced daikon radish (substitute other variety if necessary)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    saki, or rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    tamari or soy sauce
  • sesame oil, to drizzle

How To Make japanese chicken, beans and mushrooms with rice

    Prepare rice per package directions.

    While rice cooks, heat peanut oil in wok or large skillet. Add chicken, stir fry. Add onions, beans (snap in half if desired),garlic, sliced or quartered mushrooms, radish slices. Stir fry for a few minutes until beans are bright green.

    Add soy sauce and sake or rice vinegar, Stir everything together. Put individual serving of rice into bowl, add chicken and veggie mixture. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
