canola oil

8oz. pkg. shredded cheddar cheese

4 oz. can diced green chilies
1/4 c
onions,chopped
1/4 c
bell pepper,chopped
1 1/2 c
cornmeal
2 1/2 tsp
baking powder

How to Make Mexi-Texi Cornbread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350* Mix eggs, sour cream, creamed corn, oil, cheese, green chilies, onion and bell pepper in bowl.
  • 2In a seperate bowl, mix cornmeal, baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Quickly add mixture to sour cream mixture and stir well.
  • 3Pour into sprayed 9x13 inch baking pan, and bake for 45 minutes.. Enjoy..
