Blue Ribbon Recipe
What a hearty chili that's full of meat and beans. It's perfect for fall and football season. The tomato and chilies give this chili a little bit of a bite but not too overpowering. Chili powder and cumin add a ton of flavor. This is a great chili recipe if you're serving a large group. It will be a crowd-pleaser.

1 1/2 lbground beef trimmings (hamburger will work)

3/4 cPictsweet frozen seasoning blend

1/4 cchili powder

5 slicepickled jalapeno

1 1/2 tspsalt and pepper, or to taste

2 Tbspunsalted butter

2 Tbspminced garlic

2 can(s)water

1 pkggrated cheese, to sprinkle on each serving

1 pkgFritos, family-size bag to crush and top bowl of chili

1 largeonion, diced to add to individual servings to taste
