Almost Fat Free Turkey Meatloaf

Laura Hinkeldey

I absolutely love this recipe for turkey meatloaf! It is a very easy recipe and if you have children they'll love helping to squish everything together with their hands! It's almost fat free, packed with protein and delicious! I like to eat mine with fire roasted mushrooms. 99% fat free ground turkey can taste a bit dry so having a sauce or porous vegetable to eat it with is highly suggested. I have come to love using turkey in my recipes for it's low fat, high protein properties. And of course because it tastes good! WEIGHT WATCHERS : 1 SERVING = 1 POINT

How to Make Almost Fat Free Turkey Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 400 and line a baking pan with foil
  2. In a medium bowl mix together the ground turkey, egg, and Worcestershire
(I actually find that hands are the best mixing tool in this recipe!)
  3. Add in seasonings and bread crumbs.
  4. Mix until combined
  5. Spray foil lined baking sheet with cooking spray. Place the big ball of meat in the middle and form it into a rectangle.
  6. Spread the ketchup over the top.
Note: Experiment with toppings here! I've used tomato sauce, pesto, and garlic butter before and it came out yummy each time!
  7. Optional: place vegetables around meatloaf in pan
  8. Place in preheated oven and cook for 20-25 minutes. Meat thermometer should read at least 160°F when inserted in the middle.
  9. Slice and enjoy!
