Ingredients For rabbit in garlic and wine

    rabbit, cut into parts
  • 1 bottle
    red wine
  • 1 md
    onion (sliced)
  • 2 clove
    garlic (diced)
  • 2 or 3
    bay leaves
  • 1
    chicken bouillon cube
  • olive oil
  • seasoned flour (salt & pepper)

How To Make rabbit in garlic and wine

    Marinade rabbit in 1/2 bottle of wine and leave for 1 hour.

    Peel garlic and put in a large frying pan with 3 teaspoons oil. Heat gently. Coat rabbit parts in flour. Add as many parts of rabbit as fit in the pan and fry until brown on both sides.

    When all rabbit is fried, place all parts back in the pan. Sprinkle with wine, add bay leaves, cover and cook gently for about 1 hour until rabbit is tender.

    Add more wine, chicken stock and salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm until served.
