delicioso taco casserole

My dad used to make this, but w/ lean ground beef. I use ground turkey to make it healthier.

Ingredients For delicioso taco casserole

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 8 oz
    nacaroni
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 can
    condensed tomato soup. i used reduced fat
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes, w/ chiles
  • 1
    packet taco seasoning mix
  • 2 oz
    reduced fat, shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 oz
    shredded mexican cheese
  • 1 c
    baked tortilla chips, crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    light sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green onions

How To Make delicioso taco casserole

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350. Cook pasta as directed and drain. In lg skillet, over med-high heat, cook ground turkey and onion, till cooked through.

    Mix in tomato soup, diced tomatoes and taco seasoning. Spoon mix into a 9" x 13" casserole dish. Sprinkle w/ cheeses and crumbled chips.

    Bake 35 mins. Dollop w/ sour cream, sprinkle w/ green onions.
