Recipe by

This is one of my all time favorite pizza flavors. Pork, pineapple, and little zing from almonds-only this time, with an almond flour dough. Topped with a little hot sauce, it's sure to be a mouth explosion of all things we love-sweet, savory and spicy.

How To Make grown up hawaiian pizza

  • 1
or BBQ Sauce: Stew tomatoes with vinegar, salt and pepper to season, about 1o minutes, whisking frequently.
  • 2
Combine rest of BBQ sauce ingredients, whisking frequent, for about 10 more minutes. Pour over pork loin that's been seasoned with salt and pepper in a crock pot. Cook on low for 7 hours, pulling apart and stirring throughout. (I went about my day and went to work while this was slow cooking away!)
  • 3
With about an hour left, combine dry ingredients for dough in a bowl with a whisk.
  • 4
Combine wet ingredients in another bowl, whisk.
  • 5
make a well in dry ingredients, add in wet, then stir well to combine. Set aside.
  • 6
In a skillet, coat bottom with olive oil, just enough to cover. Add in sliced onions, season with salt and pepper. Sautee over medium heat about 15 minutes until they begin to caramelize.
  • 7
Remove onions from pan, and add pineapple slices. Drizzle lightly with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook over medium heat about 4 minutes each side until they just change color. Remove from heat and combine with the onions.
  • 8
Heat the oven to 375*. Scoop the dough out onto a piece of parchment paper. With another piece on top, roll out the dough to your desired shape, round or square, thin, and place on a pizza pan that's been sprayed with cooking spray.
  • 9
Cook 12-15 minutes until the dough starts to become golden. Remove from heat and evenly distribute the pork. Cover with cheese. Heat until cheese just starts to melt, remove from oven and top with onions and pineapple, replace to oven for another 5-7 minutes to heat all through! ENJOY!!!!
