Ingredients For country pork ribs - my way

  • 5 lb
    boneless, country ribs
  • salt and pepper
  • several
    sprinkles onion powder
  • 1
    lemon, sliced - used a mandolin
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic, minced - i used from a jar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes - optional
  • few drops
    hot sauce
  • 1/4 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    chili powder

How To Make country pork ribs - my way

    Preheat oven to 450 degree F. Season both sides of ribs with salt, pepper and onion powder.

    Spread into a shallow baking pan or dish.

    Sprinkle onion and lemon atop the ribs.
  • 4
    Bake for 45 minutes. Last 5 minuted of baking; combine all other ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Drain liquid from ribs.

    Pour the sauce over the ribs. Reduce oven to 350...bake for 1 - 1 1/2 hours longer, or until desired tenderness.
