This is a another cheeseburger casserole recipe. It's called The Firehouse. It's based on Cheese and Burger society. Caution... this cheeseburger casserole recipe is extremely hot!

Ingredients For firehouse burger casserole

  • 6 oz
    wide egg noodles
  • 6
    pickled jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 2 c
    sliced spicy capicola
  • 2 lb
    ground round
  • 1 c
    pasta sauce
  • 1 c
    sriracha, divided
  • 6
    pepperoncini peppers, chopped
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 2 can
    condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 c
    shredded pepperjack cheese
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    diced Wisconsin havarti cheese
  • 8 slice
    Wisconsin provolone cheese

How To Make firehouse burger casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl.

    Add chopped jalapeno peppers and sliced hot capicola. Mix well and set aside.

    Cook ground round in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat and return to skillet. Stir in pasta sauce, 1/2 cup sriracha, chopped pepperoncini peppers and chili powder.

    In a medium bowl, combine soup, shredded pepperjack cheese, cream cheese and remaining sriracha. Mix together for 3 minutes until blended.

    Spoon one-third of ground round mixture into a 13-x 9-inch baking dish; top with half of noodle mixture, half of spicy cheese mixture and sprinkle of diced havarti cheese. Repeat layers once.

    Spoon remaining one-third of ground round mixture over spicy cheese mixture, sprinkle with remaining havarti cheese and top with sliced provolone cheese.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
