How To Make creamy broccoli linguine alfredo - cass's

  • 1
    Boil your pasta, drain
  • 2
While Pasta is cooking, add butter and oil to a large skillet. Saute the broccoli, onions, garlic and mushrooms, just until tender, stirring occasionally.
  • 3
Add the cream once veggies are tender. Simmer for a few minutes or until the cream starts to thicken some.
  • 4
Add the cheeses, salt, pepper and fresh parsley if using. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.
  • 5
Drain linguine and toss with sauce. I don't rinse pasta, so the sauce adheres a bit better.
  • 6
Serve immediately. Sprinkle with some parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. I served with a tossed salad and some crusty Italian bread.
