How To Make cassies crockin lasagna

  • 1
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, onion, seasonings, pepperoni and garlic in a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain grease.
  • 2
Return the meat mixture to the skillet, add sauce. Simmer till heated through.
  • 3
Spray your crock liner with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 4
In a bowl, mix the cheeses and parsley.
  • 5
Ladle about 1/4 of the meat sauce on the bottom of a greased 5 quart crock pot. Next place 2 lasagna noodled horizontally over the sauce , I then broke one in half to fill in both ends. I try to make sure there are no spaces. Next spread about 1/3 of cheese mixture over the noodles.
  • 6
Now make 2 more layers of sauce, noodles and cheese; in that order. Ending with last 1/4 or more of sauce. * I use all the noodles I then sprinkled some extra mozzarella on the final layer of sauce.
  • 7
Place the lid on the crock. Cook for 1 hour on High, then turn pot to low, and cook another 3 - 4 hours or until noodles are tender.
