I had leftover salads my friend Christine brought over. Since it was Ash Wednesday I had to skip the burger and go with the home made tuna salad. I used lime juice because it was on hand.

  • 1 can
    solid white tuna
  • 2 Tbsp
    hellman's canola mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    red onion
  • 1 stalk
    celery stalk
  • 2 Tbsp
    progresso italian bread crumbs
  • 2 dash
    tabasco
  • 1/2 c
    store-bought potato salad
  • 1/2 c
    store-bought bean salad
  • 10
    ore-ida mini tater tots
  • 1 Tbsp
    lime juice

How To Make ash wednesday tuna salad plate

    Bake mini tater tots while making tuna salad. Drain can of tuna and put in a medium sized bowl. Dice celery and red onion. Then add to tuna.

    Add lime juice, mayonnaise, bread crumbs, and Tabasco sauce. Mix well. Chill while tater tots are baking.

    Arrange Romaine lettuce on plate. Place scoops of salads on to lettuce. Add a drizzle of your favorite salad dressing. Enjoy with some crackers or bread sticks.
