    onion, finely chopped
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 6 md
    plun tomatoes coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    ancho chile powder or one ancho chile
  • 1 tsp
    chile powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce

How To Make new mexico-style barbecue sauces

    In a Large saucepan over medium heat ,heat the butter and sweat the onion and garlic until translucent.

    Add the tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Puree the mixture in the food processor pour into a bowl and let cool at room temperature.
