Summer Fun Burger

Ramon Douglas

This burger is my salut to the summer, you have your summer fruits along with a lil heat. The salsa complements the pork flavors in the burger, the pork also keeps the burger juicy :-). Enjoy

How to Make Summer Fun Burger

  1. Heat grill
  2. Halve and remove seeds in the peaches and nectarines. Place them on the hot grill with the habanero until they get decent grill/char markings, remove and let cool down. While they are cooling dice up half of the onion, half of the cilantro, 1/4 of the bell pepper, dice the peaches and nectarines, mince the habanero, mix it all together, add half a lime juiced, salt and sugar to taste. Reserve mixture in a cool area.
  3. Heat a pan and cook bacon, while bacon is cooking add beef and pork to a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper, mix them together (do not over mix), shape patties (1/2 pound each) and reserve in refrigerator. Set bacon aside.
  4. Place patties on hot grill and cook to your desired temp. Add bacon and cheese. Add buns to brown
  5. Construct burger: bun, mixed greens, burger patty, and top it with the habanero stone fruit salsa...... Commence to eating :-) enjoy!
