I really enjoy many of Mr. Food's recipes and get them on a weekly basis. I was a little hesitant at first regarding the sauce but it was even more delicious the second day!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 lb
new baby potatoes (about 12)
1
onion, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
1 lb
carrots, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks
3 lb
brisket, trimmed
1 tsp
salt
3/4 tsp
black pepper
15 oz
tomato sauce
1 c
brewed black coffee
1/4 c
worcestershire sauce
1/2 c
light brown sugar

Step-By-Step

1In 6-qt. slow cooker, place the potatoes, onion, and carrots. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper and place over vegetables.
2In medium bowl, combine tomato sauce, coffee, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar; pour over beef and vegetables.
3Cover and cook on low 8 - 9 hours, or until beef is fork tender. Slice beef across grain; serve with vegetables and sauce. ENJOY!
