This is my own creation. My husband just loves it. I use Fenugreek spice in this recipe. Fenugreek is a Middle Eastern spice with a unique flavor that is quite delicious. It can be found at specialty spice stores or on Amazon

Ingredients For cheeseburger casserole with blooming onion sauce

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 tsp
    fenugreek
  • 1 tsp
    mace
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 can
    refrigerated large butter biscuits
  • 2 c
    shredded cheese
  • 8 lg
    dill pickle slices
  • blooming onion sauce
  • 1/4 c
    each olive oil, chili sauce, and ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c
    mayo
  • 1/2 tsp
    each cajun seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder
  • 1/2
    lemon juiced
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make cheeseburger casserole with blooming onion sauce

  • 1
    Brown beef with onions, garlic, fenugreek, mace, salt and pepper. Place in a 8x8 baking pan. Top with cheese then Refrigerated biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile prepare blooming onion sauce by mixing all ingredients together.

    Top each biscuit with a dill pickle and spoon blooming onion sauce over top and serve
