3 Cheese Linguine

Monica Carter

When I first made this I was kinda worried that my 3 kids wouldn't like it. As I was making it, they kept coming over and smelling it. Finally, the time came for the kids to try. They Loved it. They loved how cheesy it was and how they couldn't taste the onions in it.

How to Make 3 Cheese Linguine

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. While that is heating up get one medium/large pot ready with water (for the noodles). Put heat onto medium heat. Once the water is boiling add the noodle until cooked thoroughly.
  2. While the water is heating up for the noodles, grab a small pan. Start cutting up the celery, green onion and yellow onion into bite size pieces. Heat up pan on med/high heat. Add 2 tbsp. butter into the pan. Once butter has melted add the celery, green onion, and yellow onion into pan. Cook until yellow onion has turned a golden color.
  3. While celery and onions are cooking. Get a large pan. Start cooking the hamburger meat on medium/high heat. Once the meat is cooked all the way add the celery/onion mix into the meat. Start mixing together. Once the noodles are done cooking, add a layer of noodles to the bottom of the cake pan. Then add a layer of meat mixture on top of noodles. Add both shredded cheese on top of meat mixture (half the bag). Then repeat the noodle, meat mixture and cheeses for the next layer. There should only be two layers of noodle, meat mixture, and cheeses. On the very top add Ragu sauce over the whole thing. Then sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the Ragu sauce. After you have finished that, then put in oven for at least 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Then slice into equal sizes and ENJOY!!!
