Ingredients For fish bowl taco

  • 1 1/2 lb
    codfish
  • To taste pinch
    salt and pepper
  • To taste pinch
    cumin
  • A drizzle fl
    olive oil
  • 1/2 slice
    red onions
  • 1/2 slice
    red bell peppers
  • To taste pinch
    garlic powder
  • 1 can
    corn
  • 1 can
    black beans, canned
  • 2 c
    brown rice, cooked
  • 1 bunch
    cilantro, fresh
  • 1 slice
    avocados
  • To taste Tbsp
    lime juice

How To Make fish bowl taco

    Cook brown rice your own traditional way and set aside.

    Season your Codfish (or any white filet, Tilapia etc) with the salt, pepper, cumin and garlic powder, if you want to add a kick to it add cayenne pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat,drizzle olive oil and saute fish until fully cooked and set aside.

    In the same skillet, do not wash skillet and add more olive oil if necessary. Add onions, peppers and drained corn until all is crisp and tender, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes. Add the can of drained, rinsed black beans and heat through.

    Layer rice, bean mixture, fish in bowl and garnish with avocados, cilantro and lime juice to taste.
