Found this recipe in our news paper. I tried it and made some of my own changes to it to make it even better... It has been a big hit at our house..

Ingredients For bob's fiery buffalo shrimp with celery sticks

  • 1 lb
    large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/3 tsp
    cayenne pepper, more if you like it hotter.
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    diced or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1
    pearl onion,diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons of real butter,(divided use
  • 10
    stalks of celery
  • 2 Tbsp
    blue cheese dressing,reduced-fat

How To Make bob's fiery buffalo shrimp with celery sticks

    Wash and pat dry shrimp.. Mix honey, cayenne pepper, vinegar, hoisin sauce, tomatoes, garlic, and onion together to make a smooth sauce.. Heat 2 teaspoons of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.(I use a cast iron skillet.) Add sauce to the skillet. on med-heat Add shrimp and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, turning once or until shrimp starts to turn pink. Remove from pan.. and set on a plate..

    Add remaining butter and heat gently. add shrimp back into the pan. Heat for about 20-25 seconds. Remove to 2 plates..

    Wash and cut celery into 6 inch pieces.. Divide between the 2 plates and drizzle with blue cheese dressing...
