Ingredients

1 Tbspbutter or margarine

1 lbboneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

1 1/2 ccoarsely chopped red bell pepper (2 medium)

1 ccelery, finely chopped

1 cfinely chopped onion
-
2 clovegarlic, finely chopped

1/2 cgrated parmesan cheese
-
9 -12uncooked lasagna noodles

·fresh basil sprigs or chopped basil leaves, if desired

MIXTURE
-
1/2 cprogresso chicken broth
-
1 pthalf-and-half (2 cups)
-
4 ozcream cheese
-
7 ozgouda cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)

1 pkgsliced mozzarella cheese (16 oz)

COTTAGE CHEESE MIXTURE
-
12 ozsmall-curd cottage cheese (1 container)
-
1/4 cfresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips

1 mediumegg, beaten
How to Make White Chicken Lasagna
- In bowl, mix cottage cheese, 1/4 cup fresh basil and the egg until blended.
- Spread 1 cup chicken mixture in baking dish. Top with 3 noodles, 1 1/2 cups chicken mixture, 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture and 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers once, starting with noodles. Top with remaining 3 noodles and remaining chicken mixture.
