turn out chicken bake (microwave)

I got this recipe from a cute little cookbook that I got at a thrift store. The book is called: The Best Little Cookbook in the West. It is also noted in small print under the title: " A gourmet style microwave dish". Not that many of these around so I am sharing it with you. It sounds really good to me.

Ingredients For turn out chicken bake (microwave)

  • 6
    chicken breasts, skinless
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 can
    french fried onion rings
  • 1 c
    grated swiss cheese
  • 1 c
    sliced mushrooms

How To Make turn out chicken bake (microwave)

  • 1
    Melt butter and salt and pepper. Roll chicken in butter.

    Arrange in microwave safe baking dish. Cover with waxed paper and cook on high for 5 minutes.

    Turn chicken over and cover with mushrooms. Cook on high for 4 minutes.

    Sprinkle top with onion rings then add cheese over all. Cook on high for 3 more minutes. Enjoy!
