This was a quickie I threw together on a school day. Using the beef & chicken bouillon together gives this a little more of a turkey kind of flavor. And I am a turkey junkie, so I love that part! Ha!

Ingredients For turkey-ish chicken crock pot

  • 2 c
    chicken, boneless and skinless, chunked (or 4-6 chicken thighs)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c
    water
  • 6
    potatoes, new red, cut up
  • 2 lg
    carrots, cut into thick slices
  • 1/4 lg
    vidalia onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp
    oregano
  • 3 tsp
    basil
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1
    chicken boullion cube, low sodium
  • 2
    beef boullion cube, low sodium
  • salt
  • pepper

How To Make turkey-ish chicken crock pot

  • 1
    Add chicken to crock pot. Sprinkle with oregano, basil, garlic, celery seed & rosemary.

    Add potatoes, carrots & onions. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.

    Add water & bouillon cubes.

    Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours. Stir slightly & serve.

    If you have leftover veggies & broth after dinner, you can freeze as a starter for chicken soup!
