I wanted to do something really special for the most important woman in my life's birthday. That special lady is my mama, Nancy Adams. She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is my hero! She set the example for my brothers, sisters and I. She taught us to always be humble, genuine, treat others the way you want to be treated, the true meaning of unconditional love, faith, honesty, integrity and so much more. She is my inspiration and I love her dearly.

For this weeks sandwich challenge in the group Sandwiches, Sammiches & Sammies, I ask the group to create a diabetic friendly sandwich with the mystery ingredients chicken sausage & asparagus honoring her 70th birthday November 2nd. This is mine. She will be overjoyed and crying when she sees all the sammies dedicated to her on her special day. Happy Birthday, Mama, I love you with all my heart; Cooking with Passion, sw:)
