I found this recipe on a cooking site and tried it! It was PERFECTLY DELICIOUS! It is the perfect blend of spices! We just couldn't stop eating these wings! These are mild in heat! I added my own photo.

Ingredients For grilled jerk chicken wings

  • 1 Tbsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground bay leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 3/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1
    lime-juiced
  • 1
    jalapeno pepper-seeded and minced
  • 3
    green onions-finely chopped
  • 1 c
    white onion-finely chopped
  • 1 lg
    family pack of chicken wings-tips removed and wings cut in half

How To Make grilled jerk chicken wings

    In a very large bowl combine the first ten ingredients. Then whisk in the next five ingredients.

    Add the jalapeno pepper, green onions and white onions to mixture and mix well.

    Now add the chicken wings and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 6 hours.

    Preheat outdoor grill.

    Remove the wings from the marinade and grill til thoroughly cooked.

    While the wings are grilling, pour the leftover marinade into a small saucepan and heat til boiling. Then simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve with the wings as a dipping sauce.
