I am always looking for new ways to prepare my family's favorite foods and this sandwich really does it for us. I slipped in whole grain Ciabattas, grilled chicken breasts, Swiss cheese, bacon, tomatoes, avocados, and topped it off with bold pesto mayo. Disclaimer: I have always used recipes as a guide and use my instincts and experience to alter ingredients as I cook. Therefore, it has always been a challenge when sharing recipes with others. I doubt I make dishes the same way twice. So, I advise you to use my recipes the same way. Trust your experience and adjust to your personal taste.

These are restaurant-quality grilled chicken sandwiches you can make at home. The chicken is pounded thin and is tender when grilled. It's delicious on the toasted ciabatta bun with gooey melted Swiss cheese and fresh toppings. On top is a basil pesto mayo that's simple to make. When you take a bite, you're hit with all the divine flavors and textures.
