Greek-Style Seasoned Chicken
2chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1/2 colive oil
1 Tbspminced garlic
1 to 2 Tbspgreek style seasoning
GREEK STYLE SEASONING
2 Tbspdried oregano
1 Tbspdried rosemary
1 Tbspdried onion
2 tspgranulated garlic
1 tspground fennel seeds
How to Make Greek-Style Seasoned Chicken
- Remove any fat from chicken breast and cut each breast into two strips.
- In a large zip lock bag, add oil, seasoning and garlic.
Mix and put in chicken breast strips.
Marinate for 1 hour.
- In a medium skillet, add butter and then add the marinated chicken to butter and cook (covered) for approx 20 minutes, turning once.
Test chicken to see if done (180 degrees)
Remove from pan and serve with a vegetable and rice.
I would recommend a yogurt type sauce, but I didn't make one at this time.
Greek Style Seasoning:
Add all ingredients to a small blender and mix well.
Put into a glass container with a lid.
