easy chicken soft tacos

I was boiling a chicken for dinner and had no idea what i wanted to make. We had just had chicken and dumplins a couple of nights before, so i wanted to try something new. This is what i come up with and they were delicious!

Ingredients For easy chicken soft tacos

  • 1 md
    whole chicken
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    flour tortillas

How To Make easy chicken soft tacos

    Boil one whole chicken until done. (aprox 1 hr), remove from broth and debone
  • 2
    add the deboned chicken, taco seasoning, water and cream cheese to a crock pot and let cook for at least an hour. The longer you slow cook, the more the chicken will shred. Stir occasionally until done.

    scoop chicken mixture into soft tortillas and enjoy. Note: you can also spice it up with your favorite taco toppings.
