My personal take on a main dish from my favorite resturant.

Ingredients

  • 2
    boneless skinnless chicken breast
  • 1/4 c
    bacon bits
  • 1/2 c
    creamy honey-mustard sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    sliced mushrooms
  • 4 oz
    shredded cheese (monterey jack works best)

How to Make Down-Under Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Rinse Chicken
  3. Rub chicken lightly with oil
  4. On broiler pan, bake chicken for approximately 30 minutes (until juices run clear)
  5. When chicken is done, remove from oven and place on cookie sheet – leave oven turned on
  6. Top chicken with bacon, mushrooms, then cheese and bake additional 3-5 minutes (until cheese is melted)
  7. Place Chicken on individual plates and top with sauce
  8. Serve and enjoy!
