Since today (Oct. 4th) is National Taco Day...I wanted to post a fun way our family used to do a "Round Robin" I want to dedicate this page to My Mom & My Dad...they were my Very Best Friends, of whom I miss so much still. Mom passed away in 1989 & Dad passed away in 1999. P.S. Since I do not have any photos from those days on my computer...I had to borrow some to show you. (THESE ARE NOT MY PHOTOS)

When I was growing up we had a party every few months with the youth group. One of our favorite ones would be the nights we'd have a dinner called a "Round Robin". It was taco night and Mom had a huge round table with a lazy susan in the middle for us to use. To come to the party you had to bring some kind of a dish that could go on a taco (diced, shredded or chopped up)....lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, black olives, sour cream, avocados...etc. Mom cooked the meat to go in them and some of the other adults brought the hard taco shells, grated cheeses, flour and/or corn tortillas for soft ones, pop/soda to drink, ice...etc. Everything was placed on the table and the youth first, then adults, would go around the table building their own tacos..."Round Robin".

P.S. You can make the meat ground beef and pork (sausage) browned together to use. OR you can use chicked, shredded or chopped up. OR you can even make fish tacos.
