Yummy casserole , and so easy to make!

I like to serve it with extra chow mein noodles for a great crunch.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small
    red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 c
    slivered almonds
  • 2
    minced garlic cloves
  • 1 can(s)
    water chestnuts, diced
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 c
    chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 3
    chopped green onions
  • 3/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 can(s)
    chow mein noodles

How to Make Chicken Chow Mein Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. In large skillet, saute garlic ,mushrooms and red pepper in 1-2 tablespoons butter until soft.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except chow mein noodles.
  3. Heat through.
  4. Put in 11x7 or 9x13 pan.
  5. Top with chow mein noodles.
  6. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until bubbly.
