Buttery Herb Chicken

1 pkgrice-a-roni- herb and butter
2 cuncooked, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 pkg(10 oz.) frozen green beans (optional)
1/4 ctoasted slivered almonds (optional)
How to Make Buttery Herb Chicken
- In a large skillet, saute rice-pasta mix with butter over medium heat until rice mixture is golden brown, stirring frequently.
- Slowly stir in water and chicken pieces; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes.
- Stir in special seasonings.
Cover; simmer additional 10 to 15 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- Add green beans during last 5 minutes of simmering.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds before serving.
