I was looking for a tater tot casserole the other day. I read a few different ones and combined a little of each and it turned out great. It was so good. This one is a keeper.

Ingredients For tater tot casserole/beef,cheese,veggies

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 3 sm
    cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 can
    mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 pkg
    mccormicks au jus
  • 1 bag
    tater tots or tater rounds
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make tater tot casserole/beef,cheese,veggies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Brown ground chuck with onion, drain.
  • 3
    In a large mixing bowl pour your 3 cans cream of mushroom soup and 1 package of McCormick's Au Jus. Mix well. Add ground beef and mixed vegetables. Stir until mixed.

    Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover with cheddar cheese.

    Arrange tater tot (or tater rounds) on top of casserole. Bake for 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes, then enjoy. Note: You can spread the cheese on top of the tater tots, if you like. I like the tater tots crispy, so I spread the cheese on first.
