This is a simple, yet yummy, casserole made with common pantry items. Whether you're craving comfort food, or in somewhat of a rush to put dinner on the table, this fills the bill. When served with cranberry sauce on the side, it just might remind you of Thanksgiving.

Ingredients For o2 easy chicken & stuffing with gravy

  • 1 can
chunk chicken breast (12.5 oz.), drained
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can
    chicken broth
  • 1 pinch
    ground black pepper
  • 1 box
stuffing mix, herb-seasoned chicken or turkey flavored
  • parsley for garnish, dried or fresh (optional)

How To Make o2 easy chicken & stuffing with gravy

  • Ingredients
    1
Gather ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Use cooking oil spray, or butter, to lightly grease a smaller size casserole dish (I think mine is 7"x11".)
  • Canned chicken draining in strainer over bowl.
    2
Drain chicken well. (I discard drained juice because it's a bit too salty.)
  • Adding can of broth to soup in bowl.
    3
Empty 2 cans of cream of chicken soup into average mixing bowl.
  • 4
Fill one of the empty soup cans with chicken broth. Combine broth with the soup by adding a little at a time and stirring well. Repeat until all of the broth is stirred into soup and no lumps remain.
  • Adding black pepper to soup mixture.
    5
Stir in a good pinch/dash of pepper.
  • Spreading some of soup mixture in casserole dish.
    6
Add about 5 or 6 large spoonfuls of the soup mixture to prepared dish; smooth to lightly cover entire bottom of dish.
  • Adding first layer of stuffing mix to casserole.
    7
Evenly sprinkle 1/2 the bag of seasoned stuffing mix over dish.
  • Adding chicken layer to casserole.
    8
Break the canned chicken into small, bite-sized pieces, then evenly distribute over the stuffing mix layer.
  • Remainder of stuffing mix distributed over dish.
    9
Evenly sprinkle remainder of stuffing mix over the chicken.
  • Adding remainder of soup mixture.
    10
Pour and smooth remainder of soup mixture over the chicken and dressing to cover all.
  • Covering casserole with foil.
    11
Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour.
  • Chicken and stuffing with gravy casserole, baked and ready to serve.
    12
Sprinkle a bit of parsley on top for garnish if desired. Serve hot. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.

Note: To make the recipe go a little further, or if you just like a lot of chicken, add 2 cans of drained chicken instead of one.
