Once in a while I just want something simple and delicious and this is one of those dishes. I remember the wonderful aroma coming from my Aunt Nonner's oven and how we wolfed down every delicious bite. There were never any leftovers.

Ingredients For aunt nonner's pork chop casserole

    nice lean pork chops
  • 4
    thinly sliced medium potatoes
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup mixed with 1 can water
  • 1
    onion chopped in small pieces
  • 1
    bell pepper chopped in small pieces

How To Make aunt nonner's pork chop casserole

  • 1
    place pork chops in greased baking dish and salt and pepper well
  • 2
    place potatoes on top of pork chops and salt and pepper well
  • 3
    cover potatoes with chopped onion and bell pepper
  • 4
    pour soup mixed with water all over top of ingredients
  • 5
    cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 and a half hrs...if browning is desired remove foil and bake at 400 degrees for an additional 15 minutes
