This Spamburger is a quick, easy, and tasty sandwich that the kids think is a gourmet meal.

During the Second World War, Spam was often the only meat available in Hawaii. The people there made the best of of what they could get and they developed numerous recipes that utilized Spam as the featured ingredient. Even today Spam is an important item in the diet of the Hawaiian people. More Spam is eaten per person there than anywhere else in the United States.
