How to Make Chipotle Stuffed Bronto Burger

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with 2 tbsp. red onion. Add black pepper, BBQ seasoning, garlic salt and chipotle puré; mix well. Divide meat in 6 balls, 3 much smaller, and using a burger press, lay the bigger ones, one at a time, and form patty; set aside
  2. When all 3 are formed, divide by 3 the remaining red onion, red pepper and mushrooms and stuff the middle of each. Dash the middle of each patty with Cholula®, BBQ Sauce, and freshly ground black pepper, to taste. If desired, add some grated cheese in the center as well.
  3. Form 3 smaller patties with the remaining ground beef and put one of each on top of the stuffed patties, forming a burger. Transfer them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat grill to 500ºF. Put burgers and cook about 7 minutes per side. After flipping one side, wait about 4 minutes before brushing with more BBQ Sauce
