Ingredients For the stuffed bacon burger

  • 2-3 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    bacon (grounded)
  • 1 Tbsp
    seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, cheese, mayo, ketchup, mustard, buns
  • green onions, cheese, pepperoni, etc.., items of choice

How To Make the stuffed bacon burger

  • 1
Combine ground beef and ground bacon (I used a meat grinder to grind the bacon, but whatever works). Add seasonings and mix well.
  • 2
Take a handful of meat mixture (1/2 cup) and shape into a patty. This will make a big burger, use less if you want a smaller burger.
  • 3
Place your choice of stuffings in the middle of the burger. Tonight we chose green onions, pepperoni, and cheese. Just a five finger pinch, not too much.
  • 4
Make a second patty and place on top. Pinch the sides shut. Grill for about 7-10 minutes per side or to preferred doneness. I used my George Foreman grill, so if your cooking your burgers this way, cook for about 10 minutes or again, to preferred doneness.

Once done, top with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!!
