Had this at a local Vietnamese restaurant. it was so good except for the beef. The beef was too tough. I used a good cut of beef and my favorite veggies. Turned out great

Ingredients For rice noodle stir fry w beef my way

  • 14 oz
    rice noodles
  • 8 oz
    beef rib eye thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c
    each scallions, bean sprouts, & carrots
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 sm
    onion sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    each sesame oil, fish sauce, & cornstarch

How To Make rice noodle stir fry w beef my way

    mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce & cornstarch together. Add the beef and let it marinate for 20 minutes. Meanwhile julienne the carrots and cook the rice noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water so they don't stick.

    heat the sesame oil in wok or large skillet. Remove the beef from the marinade and stir fry about 2 minutes. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.

    Add the onion and stir fry 3 minutes. Add the carrots stir fry 1 minute. Add the noodles and the marinade and stir fry 3 minutes. Add the bean sprouts and the beef to the pan. cook 1 minute. serve sprinkled with scallions
