I was looking up low carb recipes when I found this one that was pinched by Debbie at http://www.justapinch.com/me/mixingbowl. I LOVE Big Macs so when I saw the name, it just grabbed me and sucked me in! lol My family LOVED it! I followed the recipe exactly as written, using deer meat instead of ground beef. The next time, I will increase the Thousand Island dressing a bit and reduce the chicken bouillon as it was a touch too salty for us. The good thing about recipes is that you can tailor them to fit your family's taste.

Ingredients For low carb "big mac pie"

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    chicken bouillon - heaping
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 8 oz
    cheddar, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    low carb thousand island dressing
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    dill pickles

How To Make low carb "big mac pie"

    Preheat oven to 375* F.

    In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Season with chicken bouillon, dried onion flakes, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder.

    In a large bowl, place seasoned ground beef. Add cheddar cheese, thousand island dressing, eggs, sour cream, and dill pickles. Mix together thoroughly.

    Add ground beef mixture to an 8x11-inch baking dish and spread to corners. Bake for 30 minutes
