My daughter Laurie brought this dish to my house as a side dish for a cookout one summer stating she just threw it together! She did not use a crockpot but used a soup pot on the stove. She impressed me with her creativeness and I think of her everytime I make this. It is delicious and now I'm sharing it with you.You can be creative as well and substitute the type of meat or beans. Serve with chips, sour cream or top with cheese. The possibilities are endless!
