Ingredients For beefy french onion pot pie

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can
    (10.5 oz.) condensed french onion soup
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tube
    (12 oz.) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

How To Make beefy french onion pot pie

    In a large skillet over medium heat cook ground beef and onion until beef is no longer pink; drain.

    Stir in the French onion soup; bring to a boil. Transfer to an ungreased 9-inch deep dish pie plate. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.

    Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Top with the biscuits and bake 15-20 minutes longer or until biscuits are golden brown.
