My grandmother used to make the most amazing cherry pies, which is probably why I adore tart cherries! This is a healthy and easy way to get my fix =) With the pineapple juice and vanilla protein powder, this is usually plenty sweet for me, but you can always add some sweetener if you like.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1/4 c
pineapple juice
3/4 c
milk (your preferred variety; i use almond)
2 Tbsp
yogurt (i use plain lowfat or greek)
1 c
canned tart cherries with juice
1
scoop vanilla protein powder

How to Make Cherry Yum Smoothie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Put all ingredients except for protein powder into blender, process until smooth.
  • 2With blender running at lowest speed, slowly add protein powder. (I find this is the best way to keep the powder from sticking to the sides of the blender.)
